We operate an AI-powered live video interview platform accessible at hirecredible.com (the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data in connection with our Platform, in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
When you create a recruiter account, we collect:
Purpose: To create and manage your account, process payments, and provide the Platform services.
When you create a job posting, we collect the job description, job title, and any custom interview questions you provide.
Purpose: To generate the AI interview blueprint and conduct candidate interviews on your behalf.
When you invite a candidate, we collect the candidate's name and email address that you provide. We also collect:
What we do NOT collect: Video recordings, biometric data, facial recognition data, or emotion analysis data. The video stream exists only in real time during the session and is never captured, transmitted to, or stored on our servers. Audio is processed in real time for speech-to-text transcription only (see Section 6 — Deepgram) and is not retained.
Purpose: To generate the candidate assessment report that you, as the recruiter, have requested.
We collect standard technical data including IP addresses, browser type, device information, and session logs for security and operational purposes.
This section is important and we want to be precise about it.
The candidate's camera and microphone are accessed directly by their web browser using standard browser APIs (getUserMedia). The video stream is rendered locally in the candidate's browser for display purposes only. No video data is ever transmitted to, received by, or stored on Hire Credible's servers at any point during or after the session.
Audio from the candidate's microphone is streamed in real time to our server solely for the purpose of speech-to-text transcription via our transcription provider (Deepgram). This audio is processed in real time and is not recorded or retained by either Hire Credible or Deepgram beyond the duration of the transcription request.
When the interview session ends, the browser releases the camera and microphone. There is no video file, no audio file, and no recording of any kind associated with the session. This is a technical property of how the system is built, not a retention policy that we ask you to trust.
What is retained is the interview transcript (text) and the AI-generated assessment report. These are stored securely in our database and accessible only to the recruiter who commissioned the interview.
Before any interview begins, every candidate is presented with a consent screen that explains:
The candidate must actively confirm consent before the interview begins. The consent confirmation and timestamp are recorded in our database.
Recruiters are responsible for ensuring that candidates have been informed about the AI-conducted nature of the interview prior to receiving the invitation link, in accordance with their own obligations under the PDPA.

All third-party providers are engaged under contractual data processing agreements and are required to handle data securely and in accordance with applicable law.
We do not transfer personal data outside of Singapore except where necessary to operate the Platform using the service providers listed above, each of which maintains appropriate data protection standards.

Candidates who have completed an interview may request deletion of their transcript and assessment report by contacting us directly or through the recruiter who invited them.

No security system is impenetrable. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal data, we will notify affected individuals and the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) in accordance with the PDPA's mandatory breach notification requirements.
We use essential cookies only — those necessary for the Platform to function (session management, authentication). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that share data with advertisers.
The Platform is intended for professional use by individuals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18 years of age. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, contact us immediately at hello@hirecredible.com.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify registered recruiters by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
