Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully. By creating an account or using the Hire Credible platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and references to "you" shall include that organisation.

3. The Platform and Services

Hire Credible provides an AI-powered live video interview platform that allows Recruiters to:

The interview questions, assessment reports, scores, and recommendations generated by the Platform are produced by artificial intelligence. These outputs are tools to assist human decision-making, not substitutes for it. All hiring decisions remain solely the responsibility of the Recruiter. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of AI-generated assessments.

3.3 Platform Availability

We aim to maintain Platform availability of 99.5% on a monthly basis, excluding scheduled maintenance. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time with reasonable notice, except in cases of emergency maintenance.

4. Accounts and Registration

4.1 Account Creation

To use the Platform as a Recruiter, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4.2 Account Security

You must notify us immediately at hello@hirecredible.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorised use of your account where such use resulted from your failure to maintain adequate security.

4.3 One Account Per User

Unless you are on the Agency plan, each account is for use by a single individual. Sharing account credentials with others is not permitted on Starter and Pro plans.

5. Subscription Plans and Payment

5.1 Plans

We offer the following subscription plans:

5.2 Interview Minutes

Interview minutes are consumed based on the actual duration of each interview session. Unused minutes in a billing cycle do not roll over to the next cycle, except for Top-up minutes which have a 12-month validity period.

5.3 Billing and Payment

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance on the date you first subscribe. Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

All prices are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and exclusive of applicable taxes. Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be added where applicable.

5.4 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for unused interview minutes in the current billing period, except where required by applicable law or at our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances.

5.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days' written notice before any price change takes effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new prices.

6. Recruiter Obligations

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Specifically, you agree that you will:

You acknowledge that AI-generated assessment reports are decision-support tools only. You retain full responsibility for all hiring decisions. We strongly recommend that AI assessments be used alongside — not in place of — human judgment and other lawful assessment methods.

7.1 Consent

Before participating in an interview, each Candidate must actively confirm their consent through the Platform's consent screen. By confirming consent, the Candidate agrees that their spoken responses will be transcribed and assessed, and that the transcript and report will be shared with the Recruiter who invited them.

7.2 Candidate Conduct

Candidates agree to participate in interviews honestly and in good faith. Deliberate attempts to manipulate, mislead, or deceive the AI interviewer are contrary to the purpose of the platform and may be reflected in the integrity signals included in the assessment report.

7.3 No Employment Relationship

Participating in an interview via Hire Credible does not create any employment relationship between the Candidate and Hire Credible Pte Ltd. All hiring decisions are made solely by the Recruiter.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our IP

All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including the software, AI models, interface design, and documentation, are owned by or licensed to Hire Credible Pte Ltd. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our intellectual property except as expressly set out herein.

8.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of the job descriptions, custom questions, and other content you submit to the Platform. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use that content for the sole purpose of providing the Platform services to you.

8.3 Aggregated Data

We may use anonymised, aggregated data derived from Platform usage to improve our AI models and services. This data will never identify individual users, candidates, or organisations.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

9.1 No Warranty

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that AI-generated assessment reports, scores, or recommendations are accurate, unbiased, complete, or suitable for any particular hiring decision. You use these outputs at your own risk.

9.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the Platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, loss of data, or reputational harm, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9.3 Hiring Decisions

We expressly disclaim all liability for any employment decision made by a Recruiter based on or influenced by AI-generated assessments from the Platform. All hiring decisions and their consequences are solely the responsibility of the Recruiter.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hire Credible Pte Ltd, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

11.1 By You

You may close your account at any time through your account settings. Closure takes effect immediately for free accounts, or at the end of the current billing period for paid accounts.

11.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to the Platform or other users. We will provide notice where reasonably practicable.

11.3 Effect of Termination

On termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. We will retain your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law. You may request a copy of your data within 30 days of account closure.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

13. General

13.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Hire Credible Pte Ltd regarding your use of the Platform.

13.2 Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13.3 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

13.4 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.

13.5 Assignment

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
